Ascent Trip ReportFrom North Eagle Eye Road, Kelley and I drove 8.5 miles up Harquahala Mountain Summit Road in the rain, parking at a turnout at about 4200' in elevation because I was worried about driving up and down the upper part of the mountain in the mud and in the rain; also, the road in requires a high clearance 4x. From the truck, Kelley and I walked up the road to the summit in an on and off drizzle, passing a rock slide along the way that effectively closed the road to vehicle traffic, then we made our way over to the Wilderness High Point.
