Ascent Trip Report

Drove up CR 18 to CR 68 and came to intersection at Potato Patch Mountain , it was 5.8 miles from HWY 52, I went left and the road was gated at 6.3 miles. I started hiking the road at 11:10 am and went for 3.8 miles to the Tear britches TH. From there it was only 0.6 miles to the summit. It was raining and foggy the whole way but still very pretty. Interesting to see what burned last fall. Got to the summit at 12:35 pm, then high tailed it back to the car. Got to car at 2:10 but I met a very interesting fellow hiker on the road and we talked for about 30 minutes....so nice to meet like minded people!
PS. forgot to mention at intersection with CR 90 (2.4 mi) stay left on CR 68.
