Ascent Trip ReportConclusion to a very disorganized backpacking trip. We had one nice camping site with a good water fall that was fun to climb earlier in the trip and once camp site along what looked to be a harmless little stream that would provide nice tumbling sounds to sleep against. I learned never again to backpack in a cheap tent. The torrential rains that second night camping cuased the creek to swell like a raging river and came up to my tent. My tent was filled with water. The next days climb along the trails crossed the "creeks" many times but they were all flowing like rivers and the crossings were quite difficult. Most of the party were not into peak bagging so much of the peaks were incidental to the trip or hurried, or just a solo quick bushwhack by myself cause i like to reach the highpoints while backpacking. This trip had enought adversity that the dynamics of the group that would backpack changed thereafter for us.
Unfortunatly since I typed this log many years retrospective i have little recollections of the peaks obtained along the way themselves and have mostly pictures and the trail route map to reconstruct the trip. The torrential rain from hell will thus, be my main recollection of this entire journey as spending the entire night hunkered into a ball trying to be elevated on a pad above the water rising up in my tent was a lesson in bringing better quality equipment with me for the future.
My only recollection of this peak was - thankfully we are up and back and can get dry.
