Ascent Trip Report

We parked at the ski resort parking and hiked up the Mount Tecumseh trail. We wore snow shoes the whole way, but really only need them on the Sosman trail, and for a few times that we stepped off the trail. We saw a few solo hikers coming down before the ski slope section. Once we were paralleling the ski slope, we saw a group of 4 snowboarders come down, and we passed a few hikers on their way up. We took the left toward South peak and made it to the view points, but didn't go any further because Ashley was getting blisters on her heels from new boots. Back toward the summit, we saw a group of about 20 hikers leaving the summit. We had the summit to ourselves for a few minutes before two more groups showed up. Nice views despite being overcast. We left the summit and got out the sleds. 35 minutes later, we were back at the parking lot.
