Ascent Trip ReportHiked with Will. Between his lack of proper gear, his lungs and broken heart and my hangover it was an interesting hike! We took the Batell trail as Lincoln Gap was closed. Very sticky wet snow kept ripping my micro spikes right off my boots. Summited in the ice and snow was difficult even with poles and crampons. It was very gray and cloudy so no views. Had the summit to ourselves. Very slippery decent! Overall good hike that ended in healed lungs, hearts and hangovers. |
