Ascent Trip Report***Private Outing***
We intended to hike May Peak, but it's all closed up there because of the fire this past August, and more recently because of the big rains this past week. A fire ranger up there actually told us we had to leave. So we just happened to find ourselves in Placerita Canyon County Park, and just came upon this trail up to a peak, so we took it. On the way up Tanya realized she'd been up here before. Nice area, good views.
This was Maya's first hike since her ACL injury in August, and surgery in September. We kept her on leash the whole time and she did great!
