Ascent of Ord Mountain on 2016-12-16
|Date:||Friday, December 16, 2016|
|Ascent Type:||Successful Summit Attained|
| Elevation:||6309 ft / 1922 m|
Ascent Trip ReportIt was an easy road walk up the north slopes to the radio antennae on the summit, and I ran into some some sheep near the summit.
The road up to the gate is pretty good. I parked low because the weather was poor and another trip report indicated the road was worse higher up. It is not. The worst section is on Ord Mountain Road before reaching the junction with Pipeline Road.
