Ascent Trip ReportAfter considering the possibility of doing a pre-dawn ascent of Mt Bielewski I drove over to the road trailhead on Loma Prieta. Due to the thick fog and persistent drizzle I did not see any "no trespassing" or "private" signs and quickly gained the top of the peak whereupon three gentlemen working in the summit compound were kind enough to point out my mistake. They also requested that I swiftly absent myself, a wish that I was more than happy to oblige. Several locals drove past me on the lower part of the road, mostly giving friendly waves. |
