Ascent Trip ReportAll gates were open along E Ski Run Rd, allowing us to make it to the parking lot about 1/2 mile SE of peak. After parking, it's a short hike to the entrance to the observatory, which is fenced off. To bag this peak, you must hike along the fence to the north through some woods and some steep slopes. Go about 100 yds, and the fence ends. The peak is just past this point on the north end of the observatory. Not a hard peak to bag if you can get to the parking lot and you don't mind doing a little searching. |
