Ascent Trip Report

We hiked up to the forks of Silver Creek and found a campsite. At 6:00 pm, with Lee F & Steve Hudson hiking into view I set out to climb Sunshine. Getting up to the saddle between Sunshine & Redcloud was a choice between loose, mobile talus and hard-packed
dirt with no footholds. I made Sunshine, 14001 ft, at 8:01 pm. I then decided to go for Redcloud. Halfway up Redcloud the sun set. I made Redcloud, 14034 ft, at 8:47 pm. I went down the normal route of Redcloud, to the saddle, under ambient light, then I got out my flashlight and made camp at 10:18 pm.
