Ascent Trip ReportHiked the Ventana Trail #98 to its end at the junction with the Finger Canyon and Esperero Trails. Turned right onto the Esperero Trail #25 and followed it past The Window to a saddle west of the Window Peak summit. Followed the trail across brushy south slopes to the obvious SE Saddle. From here the summit is visible as the rightmost column to the NW. Climb the slope NW following cairns and boot tracks to the brushy gully just left of the summit column. The crux is an overhanging boulder move made easier for me by stemming across to a small tree and stepping on a branch lying in a crack beside the overhang. The climbing is easier above this move and leads to a roomy summit, which appears about 1-2 inches higher than the nearby pillar to the south that would be much harder to climb.
