Ascent Trip Report

Parked where everybody parks but walked down north to the intersection with the 778 contour and walked up in the heavy wind to make it some bit of exercise. Never waste an opportunity to stretch out some steps on the pedometer. Then took the 4 wheel trail along the rail line as all other did and walked around the constant puddles of water, mud, and discarded trash. Yuck. The paths spit off into several 4wheel trails that go up and down several hills and holes but I eventually stumbled across the tallest hill and spot on the map.

The hill ridges are suspicious like a historic spoil mound. Others can enjoy that healthy debate and determination. For now, this "peakbagger" location whether it lasts as an official CHP spot or not, has been visited and I will set off for anything that is registered bump in the landscape to explore in the area providing I can get the a-fib to stop.
