Ascent Trip ReportParked at Fork Ridge trailhead on Clingman's Dome road in GSMNP. Weather was cool (high 50's...unseasonably warm for early November) and light breeze. Hiked AT to Mt. Collins. Located USGS benchmark. Continued on to the summit of Clingman's Dome, then returned via same route. Total mileage = 7.2. |
