Ascent Trip ReportParked in the Dunsmore Canyon Parking lot. Took Cresenta View Trail crossing over Redoubt on the way to up to FSR-2N76C and over to Mt Lukens Truck Trail. Near the top we stopped and ate lunch on the side of the road in the only shade,a small grove of trees.The short road to the summit has no fence ,so we walked right up and in,took some photos and headed down the north ridge to the Rim of the Valley Trail.Hiked it down to Cooks Canyon Trail,then up to Le Mesnager Trail and down to Dunsmore Cyn rd and the Parking Lot. |
