Ascent Trip ReportThe Nebo Bench Trail has to be one of the nicer trails I've ever been on. It flows really nicely, has a moderate but relatively consistent grade with plenty of sustained flat sections thrown in, there aren't too many switchbacks, and the views are amazing from trailhead to summit. The peak itself is one of those 'perfect' mountains- it has the rugged pyramid shape that one imagines when picturing a 'classic' mountain. The view of course is expansive. I was somewhat surprised to find a few icy sections, where at least micro spikes would have been helpful. I did fine without them, though. Hit the north summit on the way down, then had enough energy to hike up West Mountain once I got back to the valley!
