Ascent Trip ReportI went for this peak as it was the tallest prominence peak in the area that was a very close drive to Seattle and where I was staying. Parking is good. The trail to the ledges is in fine condition
The ledges have some cavernous erosion near the lower ledge and a nice view of the lake below. The second ledge is nice as well. The trip to the top of the mountain is monotonous but at least it has 2,500 feet of prom. soooooooo I had to go grab it too.
Total trip time to the ledges, then up the tower at the tallest East Peak and then back to the ledges for one last look and then back to car.......1 hr- 40 min up and 1 hr- 15 min down. |
