Ascent Trip ReportThe first pitch was the more difficult of the two, 5.6-5.7. The pro was excellent though and it was very easy to protect the crux. Once at the large shelf, we went slightly left (north) about 30 ft to an excellent crack system that took us to the top. The second pitch was easier, 5.4ish, also easily protected. Once we topped out, we determined that we could walk off the back side and did not need to rap. We walked past the stream and the 5.12a that Peter Croft on-sighted on our way back to the base for our second pack. The approach hike was 3 minutes! A perfect fall day in Tuolumne Meadows!
