Ascent Trip ReportParked in the dirt road off of the turn out for Plum Canyon. Since my low clearance vehicle was already scraping sand, we decided to park and hike rather than risk continuing despite the road being in good condition for any car even slightly higher clearance.
Nichole and I opted for a ridgeline peak bid. We took a drainage up to a saddle and then hiked the mellow ridgeline to the top. The cacti were annoying but beautiful, and we were able to easily avoid for the most part. Saw two tarantulas, but no other wildlife.
Quick and beautiful in the bag.
