Ascent Trip Report

We started this hike from the Bear Gulch day use parking area. For the route up, we chose the Bear Gulch Cave Trail. At the reservoir, we continued on the Chalone Peak Trail to the summit of North Chalone Peak. After eating lunch and taking in the views, we headed back to the reservoir by retracing our steps. From here, we returned to our vehicle on the Moses Spring Trail due to the congestion of the cave trail.
