Ascent Trip Report

Saturday's adventure: Madison Spring Hut --> Mount Jefferson --> Mount Clay --> Mount Washington --> Lakes of the Clouds Hut (stopped briefly, made a reservation for Mizpah Spring Hut) --> Mount Monroe --> Mount Franklin --> Mount Eisenhower --> Mount Clinton --> Mizpah Spring Hut

I really like the hike up Mount Eisenhower. I hiked this several years ago up the Edmands Path -- that part I remember as being a good hike. From the distance, the hike up we had looked to be a tough one, but the trail has some gentle switchbacks up it and it's really no big deal. I'd never been off the backside, so it was nice to have some familiar trail and then of course, more new trail.
