Ascent Trip Report

Saturday's adventure: Madison Spring Hut --> Mount Jefferson --> Mount Clay --> Mount Washington --> Lakes of the Clouds Hut (stopped briefly, made a reservation for Mizpah Spring Hut) --> Mount Monroe --> Mount Franklin --> Mount Eisenhower --> Mount Clinton --> Mizpah Spring Hut

We had the most amazing weather today. At the summit of Mount Washington, known for having some of the country's worst weather, it was completely clear, sunny, pleasantly warm, and CALM!! There was occasionally a light breeze. It was incredible. At Mizpah Spring Hut the next morning, they reported that the max wind gust reported on Mount Washington for Saturday was 19mph.
