Ascent Trip ReportUp the ridge route where routefinding was sincerely difficult to keep class 3, though interestingly the top piece to the summit was solid class 3 in my opinion despite the beta that this would be 40' of class 4. The descent on the buttress route was solid class 3, though I'm uncertain whether this would have been better on the ascent due to the grotesque scree at the bottom that may have been an absolute nightmare to ascend. Concatenated the gpx file to fit the 3000pt limit, but hopefully demonstrates our route up and down.
As a dayhike this was exceedingly satisfying, and also exceedingly exhausting. |
