Ascent Trip Report

Someday perhaps I will go back and see what the actual state park has to offer. As it turns out, Willie and I were done hiking in the state parks around the area, and we were tired of the rain and mosquitoes. We just happened to drive by this theoretical HP of the SP and had no idea what to expect. This point is useless and boring. There is not topographic relief in the area to hike, it is all low ground and swampy, and the theoretically HP is near the junction of the state park boundary and nice subdivision. There are no trespassing signs scattered around the boundary area. I will NOT return to this HP location - nothing here of interest and no hiking. But now I know.
