Ascent Trip Report

After days of bad weather and itching to begin training for my upcoming Colorado trip - decided to start daily hikes. Very foggy morning after heavy rains in the night. Was hoping the sun would burn the fog away. Left cottage at 7AM got to TH around 8AM Was down by 11:30 and never saw a view. The views are supposed to be great but the fog was crazy thick! At the summit the trees were dripping with water as if it was raining - but no rain. We were inside of a cloud. The mountain streams were raging with water from the night and made several nice water falls that were noisy. Moose tracks everywhere but never saw a moose. On way down saw many more fresh moose tracks. "Big Squaw" would have great views if on a sunny day. Very slippery and wet all day and muddy.
