Ascent of Mission Peak on 2016-08-14
|Date:||Sunday, August 14, 2016|
|Ascent Type:||Successful Summit Attained|
| Motorized Transport to Trailhead:||Car|
| Elevation:||2517 ft / 767 m|
Ascent Trip ReportAscended by the more popular Hidden Valley trail. The trail was multi-use until close to the summit, where it became a bit of a scramble. It was hot, and a bit more challenging than I had anticipated. I descended via the peak meadow trail, which was much quieter and scenic, yet clearly more challenging of an ascent. I would highly recommend going up via the Peak Meadow trail if you are up for the challenge.
