Ascent Trip ReportFrom the state forest HQ off MA 78 in Warwick, I followed the Round-the-Mountain Trail all the way to the summit. It started out on a standard footpath, then met up with an old woods road corridor and followed it through a maze of other paths to a junction; I veered right. Followed the trail, which had moderate grades here, to the junction with the fire tower access road. Turned right and followed the tower road to the open but viewless summit, which had a couple picnic tables and a big boulder. Fortunately, good views were had from the top deck of the fire tower.
Descended the same way.
