Ascent Trip ReportI approached this from the south on I-69. At Exit 95 I went east on I-496 for several miles to Exit 8. At that point I exited onto US 127 and went north about 2 miles to Lake Lansing Road, Exit 77. I went west on Lake Lansing Road for almost a mile to the first traffic light, turning right (north) onto Wood Road. About 3/4 of a mile brought me to the signed Clinton County line, and immediately north of the line on the west side were the offices of Granger. There was no one in the parking lot on this Saturday morning, so I pulled in and walked around the parking lot and the adjacent ground. Much of the area has been landscaped and the ground with bushes and trees is at different levels. I don't know if any of it is a natural surface. Immediately west of the office the landfill rose significantly higher than the parking area, but that was obviously artificial. Do the best you can.
