Ascent Trip Report

The third mountain of the day, 12/35 progress towards Catskills 3500 club. This was my first bushwhack hike, the first portion had minimal elevation gain. Once we reached the stream the trail got much steeper and was mostly clear to follow. The Nettles along the trail were brutal, my legs had a painful burn/itch for hours. The final section of the climb was very steep and covered in waist high Ferns. The summit itself was large and flat making finding the canister difficult. Overall the hike was short but beat up my legs because of the overgrowth and rough terrain.
