Followed the Friday Fanatics route from the parking spot on Pine Creek Rd. Went up to 4912 first and signed Mark and John's register (sharpened pencil) on summit boulders. Going up 5101 I went more along the ridge at one point and found the bushwacking to be pretty easy. Sharpened register pencil too. The views up here are amazing and the feeling of isolation is incredible. Could literally see over 20 peaks that I have already summited from here. Returned the same way. Good to see lots of bees buzzing around the huge fields of buckwheat.
