Ascent Trip Report

Blue Mountain is a good winter hike option. Looking at the topo there is an old waterhole at the eastern base referred to as Gild Reservoir. I was able to drive to Gild reservoir then hike up from there. In April, the summit Access road was still under 2 feet of snow.
