Ascent Trip ReportAttempted the north ridge again. Very little snow on the approach near the ridgeline. No snow left on the ridge. Still a fair amount in the coney lake basin. The snow, unfortunately, was not in good shape for a climb up the couloir and route finding was tricky on the ridge. Repeatedly cliffed out and had to backtrack. We ended up turning back rather than enjoying a forced bivy. |
