Ascent Trip Report

Still working on the NE 67 list, this one and Avery are one of just a few left, this peak was a great great adventure. This mountain was a big hairy getting to with the dirt road in. We made the ascent from The Fire wardens trail. It was a moderate hike and steeper as the trail got towards the top. There was a bit of elevation gain near the top as well just below the shelter. The hike overall was great. the Views at the top are out of the world, I've never seen such an amazing views before. Many people were doing the loop over to the horns as they say it is much easier on the knees. But we made our way down the Fire Wardens trail. The hike has a great views and incredible camping spots along the whole trail. nearing the top there is a wardens campsite and a few campsites that are amazing. We made it over to the Avery peak as well to bag another one off the list.
