Ascent Trip Report

Chris and I followed Route 3 (West Ridge direct) as defined by the Sierra Club Hundred Peaks web page.

The scramble from the car to the 4,320 saddle is very undefined, and unfortunately the trail to the summit is not much better. Best advise I can provide is to stay with the ridgeline. The trail will be clear in some places and undefined in others, again stay on the ridge and you'll be fine.

The summit registry is in a tin can buried in a medium sized rock pile. The USGS summit marker is located roughly 60 feet North of the registry rock pile on the East Facing SIDE of a rock that is only about two foot square (It looks like someone had tampered with the rock and marker).

Started Hiking: 3:24 pm
On Summit: 4:27 pm
Left Summit: 4:43 pm
Back to Car: 5:28 pm
