Ascent Trip Report

Sherpa Glacier Route-

Bushwhack along mountaineer creek. Forced bivy at 8,400' on descent because of poor snow conditions. 1,500' of total snow downclimbing in the steep couloir was exhausting. Got off glacier by 12pm. At 3pm in the heat a serac broke and triggered a massive Avalanche that wiped out the whole route. Very humbling experience.
