Ascent Trip Report

Started at Jordan Pond. Went counter-clockwise around pond. Took the 0.4 mile STEEP trail up the south side. The pitch and terrain were relentless. Two parts required using our hands to pull ourselves up. Did this with a 7 year old and a 12 year old. Amazing views of Jordan Pond. Went down the north side to the T, veered left back to the JP loop trail to the Jordan Pond House for a pricey, yet scrumptious lunch. Had the crab & lobster cakes for appetizer, scallops for entree, and blueberry crisp for dessert.
