Ascent of Mount Raymond on 2016-06-07
|Others in Party:||Belle the Labradoodle|
|Date:||Tuesday, June 7, 2016|
|Ascent Type:||Successful Summit Attained|
| Elevation:||10241 ft / 3121 m|
Ascent Trip ReportStarted at 5:45 pm from the Bowman Fork trail head in Millcreek, and got back to the car just under 4 hours later as it was starting to get really dark. Used a light for 20 min or so.
Just did it as an out and back to the summit of Raymond. Baker spring was flowing nicely, and was very welcome on the way back down to fill up. There were a few snow patches on the summit ridge, one that required ascending up and glissading back down, only 75 ft or so.
My 9 month old Labradoodle was my only hiking companion, and she did great, only needed a boost on one spot on the summit ridge.
