|Date:||Sunday, April 10, 2016|
|Ascent Type:||Successful Summit Attained|
| Elevation:||11239 ft / 3425 m|
Ascent Trip ReportOn 4/10/2016, I summitted to Mt Hood. We started climbing around midnight and steadily went up to the top of the lift. The operation booth was buried in the snow. One person in our group (6 ppl) was kinda slow. So we had to wait time to time. I was worried if she ever be able to reach to the summit but she made summit, too afterall.
We went up on Pearly Gates and climbed up on steep chute at the left side.
On descent, one mountaineering group set up rope to rappel down and I went down with it.
At the 2nd time summit was 5/28/2016 with different group. In the end of May, Crevasse near Pearly Gates is getting larger and I decided not to climb to Mt Hood until next season.
