Ascent Trip Report

Thick patches of snow blocked the road 0.7mi and 400 vertical feet below the normal spot where people start the hike. I suspect it'll be a couple more weeks before the road is cleared enough to drive all the way to the TRT. The TRT was itself dry up to 8,600ft. Beyond that it was a snow climb open country. I didn't posthole much, just slid a lot on the top few inches of sloshy slippery snow.

Temperature felt great, a pleasant 19C with a slight breeze.
