Ascent Trip ReportParked near 1755 Jerico Road. The number is on the roadside mailbox. Initially I drove up the entrance lane passing thru the open gate and traveled to where the lane splits with a fork going to a separate homesite. At the split there was a no trespassing sign. I decided to turn around and park on the shoulder of Jerico and walked back to the gate. I veered into the north side woods and continued westward towards Potato parelleling the lane. Shortly I reached a fenced-in pasture and I followed along the fence line until I reached the base of Potato Hill Mt. Traveling thru forest I hiked steadily and steeply uphill to the summit. Several outcrops occupy the summit area as well as a dozen scattered flattened beer cans. Couldn't quite get a view of Shepherd. View likely in winter.
Headed back downhill to the pasture and then turned right onto a very short access track that put me back on the gated lane near where it forks towards the two residences. I hiked back down the lane to my car. Short hike, 30 minutes.
