Ascent Trip Report

Snow climb with Jack Kieffer, Peter Lara, and Nile Sorenson. Camped at Laurel Lake (the biggest one) after 4.5mi backpack up on road. Snow started around 9500'. Camped on dirt with snow around. Climbed up Bloody Couloir, summit at 11:15am. Descended NE ridge, then glissaded down a couple of slopes and went down a scree slope to get back to mine road that we started on. Packed up and hiked out. Couloir was mostly crusty on top, soft layer in the middle (difficult to get purchase when steep), and hard layer under, but not consistent throughout. Small cornice on summit.
