Ascent Trip ReportActually I've been here many times, having lived in NYC for many years. This particular known date was the day of the NYC marathon. We walked here right after dropping daughter off at the Staten Island ferry with a hoard of runners.
The true natural HP would be impossible to locate, it being pretty damn flat as well as built up/graded over the centuries. In fact the fort was originally on a small island just offshore to Manhattan Island. |
