Ascent Trip ReportPB 6529, Morris & Jenkins from Walker Pass
This was a pretty straightforward hike from Walker Pass. Followed the PCT up to the saddle at 6180 just northeast of Peak 6529. Found the use tral and made the short hike up to the peak, which has a register with entries dating back to the 1990s. Back to the saddle and up to the saddle at about 6560 and use the obvious trail to find along Morris’s south flank to the top, and then returned the same way. Continuing up the PCT, A saw a good-zised cairn at the gully at about 6900. I decicded to use this, but I don’t recommend it. I stayed tot eh north (right) side of the gully and eventually reached the use trail and continued yup to Jenkins. On the way back, I took the use trail along the east ridge all the down to the PCT and returned to Walker Pass without incident.
