Ascent Trip ReportPerfect weather! 60+ degrees and not a cloud in the sky. The hike was easy to moderate. Took my overweight yellow labrador (Samantha) and a friend (Bob) and enjoyed the beautiful views. Other hikers recommended hiking the loop clockwise so that you cross the East ledges first. I however would recommend hiking the loop the opposite direction. Reason: We did not spend long on the ledges because we believed the summit would offer even better views. In hindsight we would have liked to spend more time on the ledges and would have done so if we had already summited.
