Ascent Trip ReportI drove to Schneebergdorfl, a small village beyond Puchberg am Schneeberg. I took a left turn onto a dirt forest road that was fine for 2-wheel drive passenger cars. I went up about 3 Km up the road and parked off the road in a clearing near a hut on the left to begin the hike. There was fresh snow the night before so I was not sure I would make it to the top. On top I had to climb the last 300 meters to the peak in packed snow. But a very nice sunny day so a great trip. I retuned the way i cam up. I did not make it to Kaiserstein as there was a lot of snow beyond Schneeberg. |
