Ascent Trip ReportI raced up the staircase from Mount Bonnell Road until I got to the top. The views of downtown Austin are awesome! The views of the river are Awesome! Great spot. Gets a little busy on the weekends but weekends are all I got free nowadays. I took a bunch of great photos then took the dirt trail back down to the road, maybe a 0.25 mile I followed the road until I got back to the car. When I got to my car, I witnessed a guy in an Accord hit a parked car then drive off with no intention of owning up to it. I went for my phone camera to take a picture of his plates but he was gone too quickly. Damnit. What a Scumbag. Some of us are trying to have a civilization here. |
