Ascent Trip Report

Th gate to Potato Patch Campground was locked so I started the hike just below the toilet block. It was windy and very cool and with wind chill below 32F when I started. The hike follows the old rutted out road to the base of the peak. I started the ascent for the last 300 ft to the south east up a rock passage but stopped and descended to the base. I then went around the base in a northwesterly direction. I found a way up thought the brush which I market with some rock cars to mark the position to leave the trail and heading a south west direction. It seems some of the brush had been cleared. I found my way up and came to the summit from the west. Great views from the peak in all directions.
