Ascent Trip Report

Left the car at 8am, reached our campsite around 10:30. The ditched the heavy stuff and climbed Marcy from the back route (Lake Tear of the Clouds). Tough scrambling over ice and snow and rocks on the southern face of Marcy. Summited at around 2pm. There were still parties going up the same route around 3pm; I hope they all made it back to camp safe and sound. Climbed Colden the next day.
