I grabbed a nearby bonus bump as well because it looked cool. A lava plateau breaking up the lighter-colored desert landscape...

Exit I-8 at Sidewinder. Reset odometer at top of offramp from westbound side.
0.2 RR tracks
1.6 Dirt begins
2.0 Barney-Oldfield Rd turns right from Sidewinder. Signed as EC622 as well. Don't reset odometer.
5.0 Right at fork
6.9 Under powerlines, sign for EC622
7.2 Cross wash, then road bends left
7.4 Split. Go right. Sign (if upright) will say 715 to the left, 622 to the right.
"Little" Picacho Pk becomes visible as you come out of the wash.
Occasional 622 signs...
10.5 Into a large wash
11.1 Begin re-crossing the wash again
11.2 Intersection. 662 goes right. Stay straight on Rd 830 (which you are now on).
After half a mile or so, park and walk uphill!
