Ascent Trip Report

After my ascent of Baden-Powell I had some daylight left and an itch for another peak. Gobbler's Knob was perfect - nearby and the approach road was open. 3N31 was open from pavement to the ridge road. There was snow on it from about 5,500 ft. Nothing deep, but icy and required use of my 4WD. If you take the ridge road north from 3N33 out of Lytle Creek, it is completely snow-free to my parking spot. I drove out this way. The hike was uneventful. The road to San Sevaine & Buck was closed at pavement, so I guess those will have to wait for another time... Pics
