Ascent Trip Report

Another end of week, end of day hike to the same area off Reservoir Rd in Peru, NY as the week before; the earlier snow now mostly gone and melted to an icy surface along roadways, I first hiked to height of land between Mt Etna (climbed the week before) & Walker Hill before bushwhacking to sub-peak heights' open rock and views eastward continuing on a short descent to another older tote road below Walker Hill again climbing steeply to north summit before reaching hill top going past sturdy tree stand and sunset glows, then after a short bushwhack descent returning by old tote road past sub-peak to clearing's view of Lake Champlain & Burlington, VT lights at dusk, real neat easy hiking near to my old haunts in Plattsburgh.
